SailDyn Acquires Vessel for Autonomous Sailing Prototype

Exciting progress for SailDyn! The team has just acquired a 22-foot handmade “Mini Tonner” sailing vessel, the “Norwegian Wood”, featuring a lightweight carbon rig, to serve as the platform for our autonomous sail system prototype. After transporting it from Grimstad to Bergen by car, we’re ready to transform this sleek boat. In the coming months, it will be equipped with advanced hardware—servos, actuators, and sensors—while our team develops the software to fully automate the sails. Stay tuned as we blend innovation and craftsmanship to revolutionize the future of sailing!
